Nov. 27th - Dec. 01st

Dear Parents,
This week we will begin  our first study learning about Shapes. We will be working and learning about the circle. The vocabulary words we are going to be focusing on are: plate, orange, cookie, bubbles, ball, CD, and clock.

If you have any items at home that are with the shape of a circle, send them over with your child and we will be discussing them in class, we will display them on a table and we will return them back on Friday. The kids get excited to bring things from home. Thanks a lot for your involvement.

Some of the stories that we will be reading this week are:

Our Nursery Rhyme this week is: “Hey Diddle, Diddle”

I am attaching you the link of the video of this song we will be learning throughout the week. We will learn two versions of this nursery rhyme. Just a little tip to have fun at home listening and acting out our song.

For this week, our Challenge at Home will be a little different. It consists about preparing a show and tell about “My Favorite Toy” for Friday. Children will be bringing their favorite toy and talk to us about it. The presentation should be short, like asking who gave that toy to him/her. Hope you have lots of fun preparing this activity.
Let´s remember that because of the elections this coming Sunday the kids won´t come to school on Monday.

Our annual Songfest will take place on Friday, December 08th  at 8:30 a.m. Please mark this date and time on your calendar. Take into consideration that this is the time where traffic gets a little bit hectic in this city. They are all very excited practicing their song every day with a lot of enthusiasm. We also want to remind you that your child needs to bring the L200 for the activiries and crafts they will be making, any doubts or questions. Please contact us as soon as possible. We are more than available in helping you.

We would love to have a Christmas Party with the children on the last day of school (Friday, December 15th). If you have any idea on what or how we can do it we would greatly appreciate if you can contact us via email, whatsapp or at school. Thanks in advance.

Santa Claus will be visiting the children for this Christmas Party!!!
so that´s why we are requesting for you  to send the L200, Thanks in advance for your collaboration!
Note:
the L200 are for the following activities: Santa, decorative glasses for the show, picture with Santa, and craft with ginger bread cookies.
