Dear Parents,
This week we will begin learning about
the last unit of colors "white". We will be working on color white
activities. The vocabulary words we are going to be focusing on are: salt,
rice, rabbit, sugar, egg, cloud, and marshmallow.
If you have any items at home that are color white, send them over with your child and we will be discussing them in class, we will display them on a table and we will return them back on Friday. The kids get excited to bring things from home.
On Friday the students will have ¨White dress day¨ Please have
your child wear a white piece of clothing. Thanks a lot for your involvement.

reading this week are:
Our Nursery Rhyme this week is: “Humpty
Dumpy” and "I like to eat apples and bananas"

of this song we will be learning throughout the week. We will learn two
versions of this nursery rhyme. Just a little tip to have fun at home listening
and acting out our song.

In Science we will
begin a unit about Food. We are going to be discussing healthy and unhealthy
snacks. Children will get the chance to name food that is eaten during the
breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some of the vocabulary words we will be focusing
are: pancakes, juice, apple, banana, carrot, bread, sandwich, meat, milk,
cereal and cheese. If you have any books or posters, or any other material that
you would like to share with us it would be greatly appreciated.
Our Thanksgiving day is around the corner so, as I mentioned last friday, this day, the food that the kids will have will be from the cafeteria, the kids will eat nuggets and fries, and the total amount to be paying will be L.45.00 per kid. This meal does not include juices or drinks. So if you would like to colaborate with juices or a pie for your kids will be welcome.
