Dear Parents,
This week we will be having many
amazing activities. We will begin learning about color green. We
will be working on color green activities. The vocabulary words we are going to
be focusing on are: frog, leaf, turtle, pear, grass and
broccoli.
If you have any items at home
that are color green, send them over with your child and we will be discussing
them in class, we will display them on a table and we will return them back on
Friday. The kids get excited to bring things from home.
On Friday the students will have ¨Green
dress day¨ Please have your child wear a green piece of clothing.

In our Social Studies unit we will be talking about this gorgeous country HONDURAS. Some of the vocabulary words we will be learning this week are: Map, Macaw, Lempiras(money), White tail deer, Pine Tree, Flag, Orquidia, Code of Arm. If you have anything about Honduras that you are willing to share with us, we would really appreciate it. You are more than welcome to come into the classroom and talk about this beautiful country, show pictures, or even share a typical food with the kids. Let us know in advance if you would like to do a special activity with the children.
