Dear Parents,
This week we will be reviewing the vocabulary of the colors learned in this second . Those colors are: black, brown, gray and white, and we will continue learning about the shape: "circle" we will be practicing all about this shape, drawing and identifying it.
Some of the
stories that we will be reading this week are:
Our Nursery Rhyme this week is: “the
wheels on the bus, we will continue singing row, row your boat”
I am attaching you the link of the
video of this song we will be learning throughout the week. We will learn two
versions of this nursery rhyme. Just a little tip to have fun at home listening
and acting out our song.
In Social
Studies we will continue the unit about Transportation. We
are going to be discussing the different types of vehicles. Children will get
the chance to name vehicles that travel by air, by land and by water. Some of
the vocabulary words we will be focusing are: airplane,
jet, boat, air balloon, car, van, bus, bicycle, motorcycle, ambulance,
helicopter train, fire truck and rocket. If you have any books or
posters, or any other material that you would like to share with us it would be
greatly appreciated.
Ø On Friday
we will have a transportation activity, so for this we will be requesting for
the kids to bring their bicycles o cars they can ride, to have some fun at
school, so they play and practice their learning by using real transportation.

cards for the second quarter go out on Friday, January 18. Conferences on this
day are on a need basis. Children will be dismissed from school at 11:45.
