Dear Parents, 
this week we will begin working and learning about the diamond. The vocabulary words we are going to be focusing on are: kite, ring, traffic sign.

If you have any items at home that are with the shape of a diamond, SEND THEM OVER WITH YOUR CHILD and we will be discussing them in class, we will display them on a table and we will return them back on Friday,

We are also going to be comparing big and small objects.

We will continue with Dr. Seuss' books, and learning more about him. (Thanks a lot for the parents who have been helping by bringing books. Children have enjoyed story time so much).

        

Our Nursery Rhyme this week is: “If you’re happy and you know it”

I am attaching you the link of the video of this song we will be learning throughout the week. We will learn two versions of this nursery rhyme. Just a little tip to have fun at home listening and acting out our song.

We have talked to the students that we have started the hot season in Honduras. Please provide your child with a water bottle every day. Have them wear light clothes; they can bring a hat to protect from the sun, put sunscreen on their face and arms.

 

In Honduras we celebrate Father´s Day on March 19th. We would like to invite all of our NURSERY DADDIES to enjoy with your child on Thursday March 14th FROM 9:00 a.m. TO 11:00 am We are having a father and kid athletic day. We hope you can come and spend some time with your child at school. Nursery should be wearing red clothes. 

 NOTE: We have run out of wipes, so I will be asking for your help by bringing 1 bag this coming week. Thanks a lot. 

In Early Childhood we learn about many things. We teach our children about sharing and helping. CEPUDO is a nonprofit organization that helps people in need. One of the activities they carry out is donating goodie bags to new mothers at Hospital Materno Infantil. These goodie bags are filled with essentials for mothers and babies. In the next few weeks, you will be receiving an EMPTY TOTE BAG, so you and your child, can go through their baby clothes and pick out items they would like to donate to others.
